Moderation

PodTalk.live has strong moderation tools, protocols and policies. Users are able to ban contact from other users who they no longer wish to be in contact with.

Users can request moderators and/or community administrators to ban a user from the PodTalk platform.

Moderation tools can be found by clicking on the … in the top-right position of a post/group/page/message/chat etc…

Users can report another user, requesting they be banned. Strong and clear reasons must be given. But let it be known, PodTalk has a zero-tolerance policy against trolling.

The decision on whether to ban a user, or enforce time-out of a user, is at the sole discretion of PodTalk and its representatives.

PodTalk’s strict moderation policy is designed to ensure all users have a great and rewarding experience. Here, we believe informed debate and discussion are the cornerstones of progress.

Freedom of speech is valued while hate-speech is rejected. Trolls will be banned.

Your Moderation Tools:

To make sure you have a positive experience, we have built a robust moderation system.

  1. If someone is disrespectful in any way, you can block them immediately.
  2. Also, you can Report the offending member to PodTalk’s administrators by simply using PodTalk’s reporting tools. You can find these by clicking on … at the top-right of your post/group/page etc.
  3. If, PodTalk receives three Reports about an offending member’s activities, that member will immediately be suspended pending an investigation by PodTalk.live.
  4. If a group of people unjustly Report an innocent member, then the individuals who abused the moderation system will each be issued with a warning by PodTalk.live or be banned immediately.
  5. Decisions: In the interests of safety and a respectful culture, all decisions by PodTalk are final and complete.

Mitigation:

If you have been blocked, suspended or banned, you can mitigate your position by emailing management@podtalk.live
